It is only 21 days until my 21st birthday. Holy smokes! I am not completely sure if I am ready for this, or if everyone else is ready for this! :)
The weather has been AMAZING lately. The other day I layed outside and took a nap. Is this really March? Didn't think so. :) With March comes intramural softball! Eventhough I am awful (this is not just me asking for self pitty-- I am awful.) Yesterday, I was able to actually make contact with two balls out of a good 70 pitches. Yup, that is just how awesome I am at softball. Last year was the first year that I played softball, and lets just say that at the first practice of ever playing softball, I got a black eye after I made contact with the ball. I really do not know how this happened, but it made for a very interesting story. This season, I only have two goals: 1.) Make contact with the ball and make it to a base 2.) Don't get a black eye or any worse injuries. You would think that these would not be too hard of goals to achieve, but we will see. Our first game is tomorrow. Oh boy!
On a completely other note, I want to make a green smoothie. Strange? Yes. I have been reading a whole bunch of information on them on different blogs and they sound delicious. They are also really healthy. So, what's to loose? I just have not had the time to actually make one. Maybe today? Hopefully. Can't wait to let you know how it turns out. :) If you don't know what a green smoothie may be, check out Skinny Green Monster Smoothie.
Have you ever tryed a green smoothie?
Well, its back to school for this little lady!
Here's to a good week, first softball game, and trying a green smoothie!:)
